We thought it most appropriate to recommend we all frequent the companies, restaurants, and hot spots that donated money and SAVED OUR FIREWORKS!
Our suggestion looks like this: Start your Saturday with a Starbucks coffee at Pike Place Market, walk a couple blocks and grab some cheese at Beecher’s Handmade Cheeses, and then go shopping at Nordstrom for a bit (they donated $25,000!). Then for happy hour and dinner head to Wallingford and eat at Cantinettas on Wallingford Avenue. We've eaten there and love it! Executive Chef Brian Cartenuto donated $1,000! End the evening with a great night’s rendezvous by booking a room at the Silver Cloud on lake union and enjoy breakfast in bed the next morning.
But don't stop there, as there are a hundred others we can support!
Thanks to these and so many other great companies and people who saved our fireworks and who make Seattle such a cool place to live!
