Every Tuesday Verve Wine Bar in Columbia City has a wine tasting from 6 until 8pm where you are able to savor 6 different wines for only $12!
Verve is also a wine shop so you are able to purchase any of the wines you taste and love for 10% off the retail price the night of the tasting.
As if that is not enough of a reason to pop into Verve, their food is spectacular. We recommend trying the Mussels as they are divine in their curry sauce. Make sure you save your bread to dip in the deliciousness that is the sauce.
Also, although Verve has a variety of wines from all around the world they also showcase local Washington wines from small wineries so if you are into buying local, this is a great place to pick up your local wines.
And don't forget that you can just jump onto the new light rail and the Columbia City stop is only a few blocks from Verve.
