The Block Condos

Today we visited the newly completed Block Condos in Queen Anne on Dexter Avenue. It is a condo building with 6 units but looks and will live more like townhomes. 2 of the homes are 1 bedroom 1.75 bath 800 sf live/work lofts that front Dexter. The live/work lofts have the main living space on the main level with a mezzanine level for the bedroom and a full bathroom. The other 4 units are 3 bedroom 3.5 bathroom tri-level townhome style units with 2 car garages ranging in size from 1,675 to 2,050square feet. Each of these larger units has a roof top deck with fabulous views of Lake Union and Capitol Hill.

The buildings are concrete and steel and modern from head to toe. The interiors have exposed steel columns and wood beams, stainless steel appliances, radiant heated concrete flooring (in live/work units), bamboo hardwoods, tankless hot water, air conditioning, exposed venting and plumbing, track lighting, and floor to ceiling windows. The industrial yet contemporary finishes definitely give set this project apart.
